Many people feel something of their life has, in some way, been lost when they receive care services. Therefore, you need to be extremely careful not to take over, or be seen to. Person centred care means putting the person’s needs and rights first, focusing less on the task and more on the person.

About the course

Contributes to Care Certificate Standards 1, 3, 5, 7 & 10
All new health and social care workers should be inducted according to the Care Certificate framework. This replaces the Common Induction Standards and National Minimum Training Standards.
